Race last weekend

Yo sports fans,
I went to my first nascar race this past weekend. For those who haven't been to one of these, you're missing out on some serious entertainment. And some serious drinking. I mean, we're talking BYOB, coolers everywhere, walking down the street drinking a beer in a crowd of other people drinking beers type stuff. And this doesn't even count tailgating in the parking lot beforehand.

And there's a race too.

Only a lazy, half-assed nascar fan would wait till Friday to post pictures from last weekend's race. I mean seriously...

So here we go!

Fellow sports fans Nick and Landau sporting their sporty ear plugs in the parking lot approximately 1.5 hours before the start of the race.

Ammurica FUCK YEAH
You can just barely see the guy parachuting down from the heavens with a huge Ammurican flag.
Not pictured: the guy that parachuted down with a huge UPS flag, as well as the plane that flew by the stadium at the end of the national anthem. I tried to document the flyover, but all i got was a picture of blue sky and a surge of hatred for my camera phone.

I've never been to a race during the day, so I don't know if I have the proper perspective, but the track looked amazing under the lights. Very neon-y. As a side note, the guy in the black's shirt is so racist, I don't feel comfortable repeating what it said. Oh, and the guy to his left is wearing a matching one.

Here's a shot of the tallest section of bleachers at Richmond International Raceway. This thing rises head and shoulders above everything else at the complex, and would probably give vertigo to an astronaut. I can't believe they let drunk people on this thing. With coolers full of beer. Maude Flanders would not approve.

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

See all the other people taking crappy camera phone pictures? I wonder if they all have band blogs where they can post their pixelated pictures...
